Okay, I am going to start this Food Blog off with a BANG! No seriously, you can thank me later. COFFEE HOUSE CAFE in Dallas, TX is hands down the best place to get brunch. It does get busy after 10am & there are no reservations allowed – but puppy’s are allowed on the patio so that makes up for the wait. If you arrive before 10am, you are likely to be seated right away — but then you will miss out on the $2 Mimosas. YES you heard right – $2 Mimosas. Their menu is to die for & includes chicken apple sausage links, blueberry granola pancakes, rosemary potatoes, and a whole lot more that will have you coming back. I recommend going between 9:30-11am. The wait isn’t too bad, and you can always order a coffee at the coffee bar and read a newspaper to pass the time. DO NOT LEAVE without trying their Signature House Latte. It is the best coffee I have ever had, and it comes with custom foam on top. When the experienced servers are working you could get lucky enough to have a bear, frog, or leaf resting inside your mug.
